As SOPAC celebrates its 20th Anniversary Season, I’m grateful for this community. For two decades, our stage has been a place where music, laughter, and storytelling bring people together—reminding us of the connection that live performance creates. This November, we have a lineup worth checking out. Here are a few highlights: On November 21, families will dive under the sea for Panto’s The Little Mermaid. This fun-filled, music-packed show invites audiences of all ages to cheer, laugh, and join in the adventure. Bringing children to live theatre sparks imagination and creates memories that last. We all need a good laugh, and there’s no better way than with Ladies of Laughter on November 20, featuring one of our favorites, Liz Glazer. We close the month with one of SOPAC’s most beloved traditions: Giants of Jazz on November 29. This year honors the legendary Paquito D’Rivera, 16-time Grammy winner and NEA Jazz Master, who performed at SOPAC’s very first concert 20 years ago—a beautiful full-circle moment for our 20th Anniversary Season. I hope you’ll join us as we celebrate this milestone year and the magic of live performance, right here at SOPAC. Warmly,
Y
