MONDAY, JANUARY 6TH Morning - checked ewes at midnight, three a.m. and five a.m.. Did my chores and headed to my day job. My daughter will watch the sheep. Evening - snow and flurries but nothing like what we are experiencing. Fed the cows after work and did the chores. Will check ewes every two hours through the night with the storm. TUESDAY, JANUARY 7TH Morning - Kids took night checks. I checked at 5:30 a.m. and went to work. Kids banded, vacci nated and tagged the lambs on the ground today. Evening - Fed cows and checked the water, salt and mineral for them. Our daughter made donuts for dessert. Man, were they great. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8TH Morning - lamb checks complete. Ewes are on strike as several are ready any minute. Went to work. Evening - came home and fed the cows. Finished all of our chores too. Cold north wind tonight so
