Removing students Student entries that need to be taken out of the portraits can be removed from the Student Editor in just a couple easy steps. To remove a student: 1. On the Student Editor screen, click to highlight the student(s) that needs to be removed. 2. Click the Remove button located at the bottom of the palette. 3. A message will ask if you are sure you want the student removed. Click Remove . 4. Removed students will be placed on the Removed list , which you can access by clicking the Removed tab at the top of the screen. Removed students can’t be included in any portrait flows. But students on the Removed list can be restored by highlighting them and clicking on the Restore to active button. Merging students On some occasions, you might discover duplicate portraits or student entries in your list. When that happens, you can merge student entries if you choose. If necessary, up to five student records can be merged together. Follow the steps below to merge students records together. To merge students: 1. On the Student Editor screen, click to highlight the student entries that you would like to merge. 2. Once you click on more than one student, you will see the merge screen in the lower right corner of the panel. 3. Click to highlight the student whose information you want to keep. 4. Click Merge .. FLOWING PORTRAITS When you are ready to start flowing portraits on to your pages, you will do that by clicking the Flow Portraits button on the main Portrait Center panel. Follow the steps below. Please note that you must have an InDesign document created and open, in order to flow portraits. If you don’t, the Portrait Center will ask if you want to create one when you click the Flow Portraits button.
