R eavley Dental has provided their patients with exceptional dental care in the Lamar area since 1934. To keep his patients safe and able to come in for regular checkups and visits during the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Reavley installed negative pressure operatories and upgraded to a state of-the-art ventilation system. The air in the operatories is turned over about 35 times every hour, over five times more frequently than a traditional hospital’s operating room. The air then leaves the operatory and goes through a MERV 14 filter and UV filter. It then tracks though another MERV 13 filter and UV lamp, ensuring the safest air to the patients. “We did this upgrade to provide safety to our patients and staff,” said Dr. Reavley. “Aerosols have always been an issue in dentistry.
