L acie Hale has been an optometrist in Joplin since 2017 and is set to open her own optometry practice, Hale Vision, in September. Lacie is excited to bring her personal style to eye care and the residents of Joplin. “My goal for the practice is to provide an optometry experience unlike any other,” said Lacie. “I hope to achieve this by providing a very personalized experience to each patient and doing so in a casual, comfortable environment.” Lacie enjoys the diversity optometry brings. “On any given day, I can help a child to see clearly for the first time, or help preserve vision by diagnosing a potentially blinding ocular disease,” said Lacie. “It is a rewarding experience for me to be a part of a patient’s healthcare and help them see as clearly as possible.” The best advice she has for future entrepreneurs is “to follow your passion with tenacity and always be confident in yourself and your abilities.” In her free time, Lacie enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and daughter, Kinley. They like to spend time outdoors with their dogs, fishing and riding UTVs.
