by the camaraderie as the competition. Their social nature is nurtured by the family’s close-knit neighborhood, where impromptu playdates and outdoor adventures are a daily occurrence. The Spears’ home is a hub of activity and joy, often echoing with laughter and music. Their legendary family dance parties bring friends and neighbors together for unforgettable nights of fun. Ryan explains, “Our girls love dance parties, so we purchased a fog machine and disco lights for added atmosphere” These moments of merriment reflect the family’s zest for life and their commitment to making memories together. Recognizing the importance of roots and stability, the family invested in their South Orange home. “We made a deliberate decision to stay in this area and renovated our home so it could grow with our family. We love entertaining our local friends and family.” While most of their family still live in Pennsylvania, their renovations create a welcoming space for gatherings and extended visits. Community involvement is central to the Spears’ family values. They are members of Wyoming Presbyterian Church, where they participate in mission work and encourage their children to give back. Ryan describes, “Our kids get involved by preparing meals for the homeless and picking out gifts for children in need during the holidays.” These experiences foster empathy and a sense of responsibility in their daughters, reinforcing the family’s belief in service and kindness. Travel is another important cornerstone of the Spears’ life. Ryan now owns a full-service travel agency, Spear Travel Group, offering expertise in planning family vacations, bucket list trips, cruises, honeymoons, and company offsite events both domestically and around the globe. “It’s important that our kids experience different parts of the world. Whether exploring the wilds of Alaska, relaxing on Caribbean beaches, or discovering new cultures in Europe, we cherish these opportunities for learning and family bonding,” said Ryan. Nicki adds, “While we appreciate amazing trips and all of the connections in the world of travel, it is always great to come back to the home and community that we love.”
