SOPL HOLIDAY JEWELRY SALE The Friends of the South Orange Public Library host the Annual Holiday Jewelry Sale on Saturday November 11 from 10am to 5m and on Sunday, November 12 from 1-4 pm. This enormous sale features a huge selection of jewelry donated by members of the community throughout the year. It includes thousands of pieces of fine jewelry, designer jewelry, sterling silver, gold, precious stones, semi-precious stones, vintage pieces, earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, pendants, brooches, men’s cuff links, watches, accessories, and so much more. With a broad range of prices to suit every budget, the sale always includes quality costume jewelry at very reasonable prices. Pick up a special something for your friends, family and yourself, and support the South Orange Public Library at the same time. The sale takes place in the South Orange Public Library, 65 Scotland Road, South Orange, NJ 07079. Proceeds from jewelry sales fund new Library books for children, teens, and adults, the summer reading program for all ages, as well as free museum passes. This year, sales will also support the Library’s membership in the Bergen County Cooperative Library System. Starting in 2024, this network provides SOPL card members with access to over 5 million books both using Libby/Overdrive and media requests delivered directly to the library.
