Gilbert, Arizona

Mr. Cosby came to Gilbert in 1917 to go into business. He chose the real estate profession. He was a fancy dresser and must have been an impressive, self-assured gentleman. Abe Cosby also sold insurance, and his office on Gilbert’s Main Street was where he made many plans for the improvement of his adopted town. In addition to his real estate business, Abe also was instrumental in the creation of the Bank of Gilbert and served on the bank board.
