Gilbert, Arizona
Dublin and Page was one of the new, modern stores of the 1920s. This building is still standing, but it now houses modern furniture. Gilbert still had dirt streets in 1920, which are visible in the picture. There were concrete walkways in front of the stores, however. Almost all stores had overhangs for protection from the sun.
