He most recently served as the director of mortgage for a community bank operating in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona, where he was integral in more than doubling the size of the mortgage platform while improving overall efficiencies and execution. He has also worked in partnership with the various bank business lines to launch technology and API connectivity that ensured a stronger user and consumer experience. Mulwani has also served as an industry speaker/panelist, most recently for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Eastern Pennsylvania. First Home Bank has named Asumahu (Asu) Suka vice president, vice president of government guaranteed lending at WSFS Bank in Maryland, where she delivered SBA loan production results totaling more than $15 million annually and was responsible for identifying and soliciting new SBA 7(a) opportunities from referral sources, assembling loan packages and providing SBA and credit training to commercial and business bankers in the region. She is also formally credit trained by JPMorgan Chase, SunTrust Bank, PNC Bank and WSFS Bank. Suka holds a degree in business administration from Montclair State University. She serves on the loan committee for the Suka SBA lending officer. She assumes the role within the bank’s SBA loan division, CreditBench, a nationwide leader in SBA lending.
