career in 2007 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business & Economics from Auburn University. In 2012, he graduated from the Florida Bankers Association Florida School of Banking and currently devotes his expertise to helping meet clients’ banking needs, as well as overseeing and managing the private banking area of Capital City Bank. Smith is passionate about his community and takes an active role in its development through his professional associations and volunteer commitments. He serves on the TMH Foundation and Big Bend Hospice boards of directors and is a Tallahassee Young Entrepreneurs Organization member. Additionally, he is an active supporter of the United Way of the Big Bend, recently joining its Power 5, a new cabinet team leadership model serving the Tallahassee community for the 2021-2022 campaign year. In his spare time, Smith enjoys being outdoors — hunting, fishing and working in the yard — and spending time with his wife Sophie and children Ford and Cameron.
