T he Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association intro duced the 2024-2025 Executive Council and Chair Kenneth Matuszewski at the YLS Annual Meeting held at CBA headquarters. YLS members were also honored for their service and contribu tions throughout the year. Matuszewski, an Associate at Goldberg Segalla, is a registered patent attorney with a background across a broad range of areas, including life sciences, software, and electrical and mechanical technolo gies. His practice focuses on complex, high-value intellectual property litiga tion in federal district courts and before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Martin Gould and Kenneth Matuszewski
He has been recognized for his leader ship and writing, with awards including the American Bar Association’s on The Rise: Top 40 Young Lawyers Award, the Top Emerging IP Player Award from IPR Gorilla Conference, the Inaugural Best Program Award from the Richard Linn American Inn of Court, and all four YLS awards. He has also been selected to Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars List in 2021-2024 and has been ranked as #12 among the Most Active and Best Performing Patent Litigators from 2022-2024. “It is a tremendous honor to serve as the 54th Chair of the Young Lawyers Section and to carry on the YLS’ long and successful history of providing vital
