Brave Enough To Be Bliss

From: Ginger Bliss To: Joe Karlin

Sent: Monday, December 20, 2021, 09:43:46 AM CST While always difficult to learn about the awful things human beings can do to one another, the movie is the story of six men's healing journeys. They actually pause at one point and remember those who didn't make it as far as they are and are grateful to be alive even as hard as it is for them to work through everything. It was a beautiful story of bravery and strength and, while oh so difficult, of how healing is possible. I am very glad I watched it and just wanted to give each of them the biggest hug for being willing to share their journey with the world. Wishing you and your beautiful family joy in your hearts, peace in your souls, lots of laughter and even more love--at Christmas and always! Merry Christmas, Ginger

We are all just hurt people fearful of further pain desperately clinging to the illusion of control trying to prevent future suffering, not understanding the misery we are generating along the way. Until, that is, we learn to do better for ourselves and everyone else. “Don’t ever be ashamed of the scars life has left you with. A scar means the hurt is over and the wound is closed. It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward. A scar is the tattoo of a triumph to be proud of. Don’t allow your scars to hold you hostage. Don’t allow them to make you live your life in fear. You can’t make the scars in your life disappear, but you can change the way you see them. You can start seeing your scars as a sign of strength and not pain.” Unknown
