'Regal Splendor' is a large selection that is very upright in habit. It is a variegated sport from Krossa Regal (with the same bluish-gray leaf color – the only difference being the irregular creamy white margins). An extremely large hosta that may take several years to fully mature. Huge 14" leaves are heart-shaped, golden-chartreuse in color that become more puckered as the plant matures. Pale lavender flowers are born on 48" stalks mid to late summer. Needs morning sun to keep the leaves yellow. Moist, rich, well-drained soil. Slug resistant. 2½'x5' Zones 4-8 AUG H. A classic large grower with lots of substance. Large heart-shaped, green leaves have broad, irregular yellow margins that mature to creamy white. Lots of puckering of the leaves add plenty of character. Lavender flowers. 24"x36" Zones 3-8
