SUNDAY, JANUARY 12TH Morning - Lamb checks at 2 and 4 am. Church meetings in Tooele at 7. Back to church in Vernon at 10. It’s snowing out there today! Evening - enjoyed a short Sunday rest. Then headed out to feed cows in Morning - It’s cold again with sin gle digit temps for the high. No lambs in the night. Chores are done and I’m headed out for the day job. Evening - I came home and helped the kids move stuff into their rental home. Fed cows. We’ve got a limp ing cow with long toes. A trim job will help her feel better. Did my night checks of ewes but no lambs. TUESDAY, JANUARY 14TH Morning - 6 degrees for 2 a.m. ewe check, that is cold! Headed to my day job early today for power problems this morning. Evening - the doctor called and NO CANCER!!!!! Just emotional and grate ful and blessed. Headed home to help kids move furniture. And hug my wife. Hard to drive with happy tears. the cool breeze. Full moon. MONDAY, JANUARY 13TH
SATURDAY, JANUARY 11TH Morning - I left for a trip to repair our son’s truck at college. Spent 13 hours driving. But repaired his truck so it was worth the drive. So great to see him. Evening - Fed cows and did chores when we got home. Sheep checks tonight. Weather is western.
Praying hard for good news like we have since they told us. Got groceries in town and headed home to the desert. Evening - fed cattle, the weather is mild and cloudy tonight. It hit a low of 8 degrees last night and was clear. Going to finish the rest of the chores. Still praying. Won’t have results till next week.
