has graduated. VYPE asked the 2021-2022 cover kids two questions each as they walk away from successful athletic careers as a panther. Their answers were fun, emotional and impactful.
WHAT IS YOUR LEGACY? That is a question many people are asked at the end of their time at a par ticular place. Whether that be playing for or coaching at a school . At St . Pius X , another large senior class
1. What is your favorite memory at St. Pius X? 2. What did you enjoy the most about attending SPX and being a Panther?
Michael Fite Sam Houston State – Rugby 1. Going to State for rugby my freshman year [was my favorite memory]. Just getting to bond with some of the older guys and having them help me and guide me into my future. 2. Definitely the camaraderie. Some of these people I’ve met, I’m going to have them in my life forever. They are just really nice and genuine people.
Breelyn Sanborn University of Incarnate Word – Basketball 1. It would be going far in playoffs last year and beating all the teams that people didn’t think we would beat. 2. I liked the community because I was new my junior year. I was scared to come in with new people, a new team but everyone was really welcoming. I got a lot of friends really fast.
