Numerous Medals Allotted to Concordia Lutheran in 2024 TRACK & FIELD

THE CRUSADERS PICKED UP RIGHT WHERE THEY LEFT OFF LAST YEAR, AS THEY ADVANCED TO THE TAPPS STATE MEET AT MIDWAY ISD’S PANTHER STADIUM TO CAP OFF THE SEASON. Under the direction of coach Jacob Vasquez, Concordia Lutheran featured a handful of athletes that ended up on the winner’s podium in Waco. The boys team showed blazing speed in the 4x100m Relay event, claiming silver with a time of 43.51 seconds. Individually, Lauren Stein placed first in Discus (105-02), while Kai Griffie (3rd in 100m Dash), Adele Neuhaus (3rd in Long Jump), and Sara Ostermiller (3rd in Discus) would enjoy top finishes in their respective events. What’s more cause for optimism is the fact that nearly everyone from this impressive team will be returning to compete a year from now.
