Concordia Lutheran Enjoys Momentous Year on the Tennis Court

THE CLHS TENNIS PROGRAM MADE HISTORY IN APRIL, BY BECOMING THE FIRST TEAM IN THE LAST DECADE TO SEND TEN ATHLETES TO THE TAPPS STATE TOURNAMENT. Coach Mike Schatz and co. traveled to the Waco Regional Tennis Center with the ambition of reclaiming their 2014 championship-status and they certainly had the talent to back it up. While they fell just short of their goal, the efforts made by ‘Sader Nation’s qualifiers – namely Jack Sherman, Ryan Bell, Daniella Bramlett, Rowan Kent, Michael Frome, Julia Arnold, Madeline Norris, Maxim Dowden, and Ben Osburn – should not go unnoticed. Given the new standard they’ve set, it wouldn’t come as a shock if the Crusaders find similar success in 2024.
