BOTH THE GIRLS’ AND BOYS’ ADVANCED TO THE TAPPS STATE TOURNAMENT IN 2023. Directed by coaches Bill Honeck (boys) and Cari Raymond (girls), Concordia Lutheran traveled to Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco with the hopes of walking off the green with some medals on their necks. Even though it didn’t play out that way, both groups put up some impressive numbers, with the girls finishing in the No. 6 spot (overall score of 758) and the boys ending up seventh overall (661). Individually, CLHS’ top girls finisher was senior Abby Plagens, who shot 177 to place 19th, while senior Caleb Blackburn led the boys with a score of 157 (15th overall).
