WHAT A SEASON IT WAS FOR MACARTHUR IN 2022, AS THE GENERALS ADVANCED TO THE REGIONAL FINALS AFTER WINNING THE DISTRICT TITLE. While District MVP Jay Hernandez graduated, MacArthur will still be loaded with the likes of junior midfielder Jose Gonzalez and Aldo Hernandez , who return on the offensive attack. Alan Sanchez anchors the defense. Gonzalez was a first team, all-district selection and Hernandez and Sanchez were second-teamers. The defense could be a strength with Juan Ruiz in goal and Cesar Barrientos, Alexis Sanchez and Alden Segundo in the backfield. David Anaya will also look to put some balls in the net on attack.
