MACARTHUR REACHED THE POSTSEASON A YEAR AGO WITH THE LIKES OF DISTRICT MVP PRECIOUS JACKSON-SANDERS AND FIRST-TEAMER THASILYNN PAYTON. Unfortunately, they are gone to graduation but pass the baton to first-teamer Renata Rebolledo and junior second-teamer Nicole Rebelledo. Rebelledo, the first-family of Big Mac Basketball, will be supported by seniors Gabriela Ruiz , Claudia Nunez , Lenise Addison and Madison Eaton. Juniors Miya Torres and Alexus Brownlow will round out the lineup. With the turnover through graduation, the Generals will be vying for the third and fourth playoff spot .

THE MACARTHUR GENERALS HAVE SOME PIECES RETURNING TO COMPETE IN DISTRICT 14-6A THIS SEASON. Big Mac has a solid “inside-out ” game with forward Gary Robelledo and point guard AJ Stephens – both were second-team, all-district selections. Eli Guidry will play a bigger role in the backcourt , while Cobey Horn brings varsity experience to the frontcourt . Senior Prentiss Williams and Samuel Hernandez will fill out a solid roster as they battle to get into the postseason conversation.
