The first mission to successfully reach Mars was in 1965, but Coloradoans started learning about Earth’s neigh boring planet nearly 80 years prior in 1894. “ MARS: From Red Rocks to the Red Planet ” is an online, interactive exhibit developed by the University of Denver Libraries Special Collections that explores how Colorado higher
