Chocolate Pie Ruth Dodson, via her daughter-in-law Alice Kirchmier Dodson 1¼ cups sugar 3 heaping tablespoons cocoa 1 heaping tablespoon flour ½ cup oleo (margarine), melted 3 egg yolks 1 small can evaporated milk with enough milk added to make 1½ cups Warm milk a little before adding 1½ teaspoons vanilla. Mix all the ingredients and pour into a crust. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Meringue 3 egg whites 3 tablespoons water ¹⁄ 3 cup sugar After the pie comes out of the oven, mix the 3 egg whites, 3 tablespoons of water, and ¹⁄ 3 cup sugar. Beat to consistency of ice cream. Spread over pie top and bake at 325 degrees for an additional 15 minutes.
