Chapter 14 CYC’s Professional Management and Staff While CYC is a member owned, not-for-profit club with elected officials who oversee both finances and operations, the success of the club is greatly dependent on its professional management team and staff. Below are brief biographies of the current management team.

General Manager Tom Brusini

Tom Brusini was born in Riverhead, Long Island, New York. As a member of a military family, he spent his childhood moving from place to place across the nation and the world including Spain, Colorado, Germany, South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia. He attended high school in South Carolina and college in Virginia (where he majored in music). Tom moved to the Clearwater area in the early 1980s and came to CYC in 2002. Tom has extensive experience in the hospitality industry including his last position as general manager of the Pass-a-Grille Yacht Club. In addition to working at CYC, Tom loves fireworks, 127
