D r. Roger Misasi is an interventional pain management specialist and anesthesiologist serving patients at Freeman Specialty Clinic of Pittsburg in Southeast Kansas. A native to the area, Dr. Misasi now resides in the community where he was born and raised. He spends his day diagnosing, treating and managing various pain problems in patients. In college, Dr. Misasi knew he wanted to help people as an anesthesiologist but having a career as a pain specialist would change lives. “Everybody has pain, and I enjoy seeing patients get relief from their pain, which reduces drug use and overall changes their lifestyle,” he said. “I found this area of need, and I’m proud to say I’m good at it.” Dr. Misasi offers a variety of pain management treatments and works with patients to educate them on ways to knock down pain through lifestyle changes. Dr. Misasi believes in being honest with his patients while also listening and caring for their needs. Dr. Misasi is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology. He specializes in interventional pain management and is a fellow with the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (FAOCA). When he isn’t working, Dr. Misasi enjoys running, fly fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and his wife, Heidi.
