The Face of COMMUNITY BANKING Pat O’Neal, President and CEO - Lamar Bank & Trust With a long career in the banking industry, Pat O’Neal has helped many customers with their financial goals. As the president and CEO at Lamar Bank & Trust, Pat enjoys the relationship side of the business and helping people. “I have been at it long enough that it is very rewarding to have the ‘next generation’ of an existing customer come in and want us to help with something,” said Pat. Pat strives to put customer service first and learned as a young boy that a job well done the first time is important. “Working at the Lamar Super Market, it was my night to mop the floors and I did a less than stellar job,” recalled Pat. “Dan Arnold was the store manager, and he observed my less than stellar job with these simple words: ‘Pat, it’s just as easy to do it right the first time.’ Those words have stuck with me,” he said. Pat enjoys being a part of Lamar and Barton County and values the support system the bank has with the community. Dr. Brian Reavley and his team at Reavley Dental have provided their patients with exceptional dental care in the Lamar area since 1934. Dr. Reavley dreamed of becoming a dentist when he was 5-years-old. “My father was a dentist, and my grandfather was a dentist. I always wanted to be like my dad and follow in his footsteps as he had done with his father,” said Dr. Reavley. He began working at the practice on Saturdays in 2012. He then took over the family business in 2018 after his father passed away.
