This month, Our Lady of Sorrows proudly recognizes brothers Caleb and Cole Dean as our outstanding Athletes of the Month! Caleb, age 9 and entering 4th grade, and Cole, age 8 and entering 3rd grade, shine in multiple sports, especially track and field and basketball. Caleb has been running track for three years and

excels in the 100M, 200M, 400M, and long jump. He recently showcased his talent at the AAU National Club Championships in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned an impressive set of accolades. “I’m really proud of my success,” Caleb said. “Second in both the long jump and 200M proves that hard work pays off.” Cole, on the other hand, has dedicated two years to track and shares his brother’s passion for the sport. He competes in the same events as his brother, showing remarkable speed and determination. “I love racing with Caleb! It makes me work harder,” Cole shared. In basketball, Caleb plays as a shooting guard while Cole steps into the role of guard. They share a bond both on and off the court, motivating each other to improve their skills. “Playing together makes basketball even more fun,” Caleb explained. With their dedication, teamwork, and remarkable achievements, Caleb and Cole inspire their peers at Our Lady of Sorrows. Their journey in sports has just begun, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next. Keep an eye on these talented brothers.
