With a two-handed release and a mindset built on repeti tion and resilience, phenom Gabe Solomon is our Athlete of the Month. Gabe’s numbers tell the story of a rising star: a personal best of 299—twice—paired with a high average north of 200. His high series of 767 featured a blistering run of 21 consecutive strikes, the kind of sus tained precision that turns heads and wins lanes.
Gabe has already proven he can compete with anyone. He’s twice captured the King of the Hill title—an all-ages showdown formerly hosted at Lodi Lanes— showcasing poise against both adults and youth competitors. On the regional and national stage, Gabe has qualified three times for the Junior Gold Cham pionships, the premier national tournament that moves to a new host city each year. He’s tested his game across the country in Green Bay, WI; Detroit, MI; and Indianapolis, IN; and he sharpens his edge weekly in the Sunday Morn ing Hackensack Junior Gold League. A regular on the Storm Youth Classic (SYC) circuit, Gabe has stacked reps in Las Vegas, Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Delaware. As a high school freshman, he finished among the top 100 bowlers in New Jersey, earning his spot at the state championship, an early milestone for a competitor with big ambitions. “I love the challenge of lining up and repeating shots,” Gabe says. “Two handed or not, it’s all about trusting the process, one shot at a time, and let ting the work speak for itself.” When he’s not bowling, Gabe enjoys playing video games with friends. His favorite subjects in school are algebra and gym.
