SPRING FLING: DECOR TRENDS THAT ARE BLOOMING

DESIGN. BUILD. MAINTAIN

Hey there, decor lovers! It’s May, and the design world is buzzing with intoxicating spring trends. It’s like everyone’s embraced the “pollen-drunk” vibe, and honestly, I’m swept up in it too! Spaces are becoming flirty, playful, and just the right amount of unhinged (in a fabulously chic way, of course). First up, we’ve got pastel maximalism. That’s right, the soft, gentle colors are taking a daring leap—imagine lavender, mint, and peach layers resembling rainbow sherbet couture. Add a splash of dopamine décor (also known as joy-first styling), and your living room transforms into a serotonin-rich confetti cannon every time you enter! Plaster walls are having a major moment—channeling “Did I just move into a Tuscan villa?” levels of drama and elegance. Pair them with curvy furniture (say goodbye to boxy shapes), and your space feels like a cozy sculpture you can relax in comfortably. Also trending are florals gone feral—these oversized, eclectic blooms make a bold statement: “I garden, but only with wine in hand.” And don’t overlook the indoor-outdoor fusion, where rattan and linen stride inside with an air of, “Surprise, we’re sophisticated and refined now.” Oh, and whimsy and humor? They’re definitely back. But did they ever leave? Not in my opinion! Mushroom lamps, cloud mirrors, and frog-shaped candle holders—it’s delightfully weird, and I am utterly obsessed. Spring gives you the green light to zhuzh things up with abandon. So go bold, go pastel, and embrace full-on organic glam! Because, lovelies, life’s far too short for boring walls and uninspired spaces.
