CHOW TOWN FOOD TOURS

South Orange, NJ is set to launch its first-ever guided food tour on July 6, 2024, offering a unique culinary experience that combines local history with delicious tastings. Hosted by Max Gray, founder of Chow Town Food Tours, these 2.5-hour weekly walking tours will showcase the diverse culinary scene of South Orange’s downtown district. Max Gray highlights the tour’s aim to introduce residents and visitors to the hidden culinary treasures of the area: “South Orange has so much good food, from Ethiopian and Mexican to Italian, Japanese, and French. Participants will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at premier eateries, sample exclusive tastings, and learn about the community from the chefs themselves.” In addition to exploring the culinary landscape, tours will include visits to local landmarks, providing a comprehensive look at the dynamic suburban community. Tickets for the tours, starting at 11:00 am every Saturday, can be purchased at chowtownfoodtours.com.
