Mr. Kaslow concluded, “I tried to create a book for Maplewood locals that is both fun and informative to read and enjoy. But I also hope that it becomes a valuable resource for the community.” He added, “Maplewood is a town that takes prides in its history through the active work of the Durand-Hedden House & Garden Association and Maplewood Historic Preservation Commission. I hope this book expands the scope and knowledge of our town’s history.”
