On a Monday during MLK Day, a small group of volunteers gathered at the S kate House to set up the Lumineries around the duck pond and throughout the park. This is an annual tradition in SOMA on MLK Day.

Pepper is a 1 1/2 year old mini schnauzer, who joined the Nayar family on Halloween, 2021. She is a sporty and loveable dog, whose favor ite games include keep-away, chase the chip munk, and frolicking in the snow. She is a friend to every dog she meets, having the rare ability to connect to even the most fretful of pups. Her friends call her “The Mayor of South Orange” (With apologies to Sheena).
