Henry Winkfield is a seventh grader at South Orange Middle School with a broad range of athletic talents. He plays starting offensive and defensive line for the East Orange Jr. Jaguars, wrestles Super Heavyweight for the MSO Cougars Advanced Competition Team, tackle rugby with the Morris 14U team, and even trains and competes with Sheridan Jui Jitsu. Henry’s best sport is wrestling where he placed 5th in the state competition for his bracket and 3rd in Essex County. In 2022, he was selected as “Advanced Team Rookie of the Year”. He shared, “My current wrestling Coach, Elias Hol man, from MSO Cougars, has inspired me a lot. He pushes me to be stronger and feel more confident about myself, both in my wrestling moves and in who I am as a person.”
