SOMA Living August 2024
BRITISH SWIM SCHOOL The international “British Swim School” recently unveiled its newest location in Maplewood. Mayor Nancy Adams graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony, emphasizing, “There is always a need for top-notch swim lessons in an area where drowning stands as a leading cause of death among young children.” Nestled within the heated indoor pool at Winchester Gardens Retirement Community, the school offers comprehensive swim programs for all ages. With a focus on survival skills, stroke development, and advanced techniques, British Swim School’s curriculum ensures personalized attention and effective learning in small groups without the use of floaties.
