spread steel runners which tilt in toward the seat for stability. Ice-racing with Standardbred horses used to be quite common in parts of Canada, but I don’t know its status these days. And what would a collection be without a surrey with the fringe on the top? Of course there’s one! And “The wheels are yellow, the upholstery’s brown.” I didn’t see any sign of isinglass curtains, but my eyes did pop! It’s a very pretty vehicle, and I’d love to take a ride in it. Work on the collection continues. Although Dale and Lois aren’t as actively seeking out vehicles to acquire, they still attend auctions, and they take their trailer along, just in case.
