VISION Building our community to be a place where individuals, families and businesses grow and prosper. CORE PROGRAMS Entrepreneurship Training Provides the aspiring and seasoned business owner education and training in the fundamentals of operating a successful business. Instruction includes business planning, development and finances. The aspiring owner will walk away with the confidence a good business foundation provides. Classes will be conducted by an individual with academic or professional experience in the subject matter. IT Workforce Development: Provides training toward national certifications Classes offering national certification op portunity have been specifically developed for those who want to pursue a career in IT. These certifications stress an under standing of PC compatibility, functional ity, software installation, hardware basics, networking, cyber security risks and their prevention. Classes will also cover a wide array of subjects such as the configuration of mobile and desktop computer operating systems, software deployment and fiber optics. National examinations are included with this training. Minority Contractor Development Designed to increase the business acumen of small contractors. Using subject matter experts in construction, participants will gain real world appreciation and network with companies that have work opportunities available. In addition,
