The company, valued at $10million, grew its revenue by 70 percent in 2021. Regal Industrial, an industrial coatings company headquartered in Donora, Pennsylvania , is setting up shop in unincorporated Tazewell County near South Pekin. The company is moving into the former Superior Industries building on Wagonseller Road, with plans to hire up to 20 employees – sandblasters, painters, welders, etc. – before ramping up to full operations in 2023.
Anthony Marotta has been selected as the new executive director of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra . Marotta, who began his duties on April 26, replaces the retir ing Susan Hoffman. Since 2018,
Marotta has worked for the Boulanger Initiative in Washington D.C., first as director of development and most recently as general manager of finance. Marotta also has been involvedwith the Greenville (S.C.) Symphony Orchestra, as a principal clarinet since 1998 and director of operations and artistic administration from 2004 to 2011.
