The Central Illinois Business Hall of Fame took place March 3, 2022 at the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette. Nearly 400 guests gathered to honor this year's laureates: Ron Givens Sr., GIVSCO Construction; Jay Vonachen, Vonachen Group; and John Wieland, MH Equipment. Junior Achievement also honored the JA Regional Teacher of the Year, Zach Fleming, Social Studies Teacher at East Peoria Community High School, and JA Regional Volunteer of the Year; and Matt Zimmerman, Web Services Manager, Caterpillar Inc. Honorees have a history of outstanding achievement and dedication to impacting young people through Junior Achievement. Funds of over $390,000 were raised to support Junior Achievement and its innovative, experiential financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs taught by volunteer role models that empower youth to transform "I can't" into "I can."
