• Data packet collisions • Slow access times between the hard disk and server • Power outages ENHANCEMENTS INSTALLATION Walsworth provides InDesign Enhancements along with AWPC fonts and independent applications to help you simplify yearbook creation and assist staffs with yearbook sales. Enhancements must be installed on all work stations that will be using InDesign to create yearbook pages. The Walsworth Enhancements installation is not compatible with virtual workstation systems. It will be necessary to have administrative access to the yearbook computers’ hard drives to install Walsworth’s Enhancements. We strongly encourage all yearbook advisers to work with their network or systems administrators to facilitate any installation of software onto their systems. Installation of Walsworth’s Enhancements is required prior to preparing or submitting yearbook pages and files to Walsworth. Before attempting to load the Walsworth Enhancements, make sure the InDesign program is installed and working properly on the computer workstation. The InDesign Enhancements installer can be found in the Members Only area at walsworthyearbooks.com by clicking on the Support Download link. The Enhancements will automatically install into the appropriate locations on your computer’s hard drive. It is important that you have the latest version of your InDesign program installed before installing the Enhancements. Installation for Windows Close all open applications before installing the Walsworth Enhancements and software. 1. Log in to Members Only at walsworthyearbooks.com. Click Support Download. 2. If installing for the first time, from the Support Download tab, click the link that says InDesign CC2021, 2022, then locate the Windows installer for the version of InDesign on your computer. You will select the installer based on the size book you are printing. 3. During installation, a dialog will open asking you if you want to install the Enhancements for Everyone or Just Me - If more than one user on the machine will use the Walsworth Enhancements, make sure to click Everyone. It may take several minutes for the installation process to complete. Although your screen may not change, the installer is running. Do not cancel or close out of the Setup window during the installation process. NETWORK USERS 8
