SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE

As we spring into action this season, we are inching closer to the finish line and the end of the school year. It’s a time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished and to look ahead at what’s to come. It brings me great joy to highlight the awards and accomplishments in this spring edition. In recognition of fall sports, our district had more than 130 student athletes who were awarded academic all-state including football, volleyball, and cross country. These individuals are selected based on their athletic performance, excellent GPA, and strong moral character. They set the bar high, and I’m confident these student-athletes will continue to grow.

In Lamar CISD, excellence is not just a word, it is our mindset and the culture we create. The students who come out of our Athletic and Fine Arts Departments become ambassadors and trailblazers for excellence everywhere they go. We invite you to follow us during this final season of the 2022 2023 school year. It’s sure to be an exciting journey as we continue the proud traditions of extraordinary achievement, scholarship, and citizenship. Thank you,
