Articulated 4 Wheel Drive E NGINE . The iT4 Cummins QSX engine is turbocharged and air- to-air aftercooled to deliver superior performance. It uses a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system and does not require the use of urea. T RANSMISSION . Choose a Caterpillar® 16-speed powershift trans- mission or 12 x 4 mechanical transmission (mechanical transmission not available in 550 model). Both transmissions are programmable for auto-shifting and speed matching. H YDRAULICS . Versatile’s closed center load sensing hydraulic sys- tem, standard with four remote valves and a total hydraulic flow of 58 gpm. Optional high-flow hydraulics feature six remote valves and a total hydraulic flow of 113 gpm. PTO. PTO output with a 1-¾ in. shaft is available as an option. O SCILLATION . The flexibility provided by the subframe and drag link assembly permits up to 15° of oscillation on each side (30° total) as the tractor moves over uneven terrain. A RTICULATION . Large 6.5 in. steering cylinders articulate smooth- ly and quickly. A maximum articulation angle of 42° (38° in models 350, 375, and 400) provides a turnaround radius of less than 16 ft.
