The NWFA Hall of Fame Award recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the wood flooring industry through innovation, service, and leadership. During the NWFA’s 40-year history, just 23 individuals have been recognized with this award. HALL OF FAME

SPRIGG LYNN UNIVERSAL FLOORS INC.

NEIL MOSS Neil Moss has been involved in the wood flooring industry for more than 50 years and has been part of the NWFA since its inception. He was instrumental in the development of the NWFA installation guidelines and technical publications, as well as the organization’s certification program. Moss served on both NWFA committees and the NWFA Board of Directors, and has dedicated hundreds of hours training wood flooring professionals throughout the country. He is an NWFA Certified Installation Professional, Sand and Finish Professional, and Wood Flooring Inspector, holds numerous NWFA degrees, and received the NWFA Industry Leadership Award in 2008. for the funeral of United States President Jimmy Carter. Lynn regularly invites peers from across the country to join him on historic jobsites such as the vice president’s house, the Supreme Court, and Camp David. He has served on the NWFA Board of Directors, the NWFA Education and Research Foundation Board of Directors, and numerous NWFA committees. He is an NWFA Certified Installation Professional, Sand and Finish Professional, holds numerous NWFA degrees, and has won multiple NWFA Wood Floor of the Year awards. Sprigg Lynn is a third-generation wood flooring professional, whose sons, South and Jackson, are continuing the family legacy. He specializes in historic renovations on high-profile projects including the White House, U.S. Capitol building, and preparing Washington National Cathedral
