NWFA Recognizes 2025 Service Award Honorees
The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) was founded as an organization by the industry, for the industry. Our organization thrives due to the generous support of volunteer instructors, committee members, board members, and numerous others. To thank those members who go above and beyond, NWFA recognizes volunteers with Service Awards. The following recipients were recognized at the Wood Flooring Expo this past April in Charlotte, North Carolina.
AMBASSADOR AWARD
JORGE PEREZ EPIC HARDWOOD FLOORS
The Ambassador Award recognizes individuals who have made significant technical skill contributions to the wood flooring industry through volunteering at training events or Expo, contributing content through Hardwood Floors magazine, donating products, or other contributions to the advancement of NWFA’s members. Jorge Perez has spent more than 20 years in the wood flooring industry, not just as a skilled professional but as a mentor and advocate. As the owner of Epic Hardwood Floors in Tacoma, Washington, Perez has been a volunteer instructor for NWFA, leading installation and sand classes, mentoring students, and advocating for education. He has served as an NWFA Ambassador for seven years, always promoting the value of learning and community in our industry. His passion for education makes a real impact, inspiring others to get involved and helping grow the next generation of professionals.
