Tyler Myatt Application Technician Loba-Wakol LLC WADESBORO, NC

Tyler Myatt grew up in the wood flooring industry, working for his father, Bain. In 2022, Myatt was hired by Loba-Wakol North America as the Loba application specialist. In this role, he has helped develop a world-class training program and works with customers daily to ensure successful applications of Loba products. He has shown an impressive ability to adapt to ever-changing situations, push himself to expand his knowledge, and share that knowledge and experience with students and colleagues. Myatt leads training programs at local schools to educate young people on career opportunities in the flooring industry. He is passionate about protecting sea turtles and dedicates many hours of his time to habitat revitalization. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to spend time with his wife and two children. Yet he still finds time to take a “newbie” fishing or hunting and share with them his passion for the outdoors.

Antonio Nava has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the wood flooring industry. He has completed the NWFA Certified Installer, Sand and Refinish, and Certified Sales Advisor programs, reflecting his dedication to excellence and lifelong learning. Nava specializes in sanding/ refinishing, repairing, and replacing wood floors in historic homes throughout North Texas, where his craftsmanship and attention to detail have earned him a stellar reputation. His deep technical knowledge and respect for traditional methods make him a standout in preserving the beauty and integrity of aged hardwood floors. Nava is committed deeply to giving back through mentorship and skill-building in his community. He currently leads four installation crews made up of young professionals ranging in age from 18 to 30, many of whom he personally trained. By offering hands-on experience, guidance, and real career opportunities, he helps young people build stable, long-term futures in the wood flooring trade.
