Gilbert, Arizona

For those residents who have lived here since the 1950s, downtown Gilbert is known as “Old Town.” The more recent name for this area is the “Heritage District.” As the community continues to grow, the Town of Gilbert has preserved the old water tower, which will be the center of Water Tower Park. The old Tone Building, which has been used for so many businesses, is now the very popular Joe’s Real Bar-B-Que. The town has also widened Gilbert Road and added islands, decorating them to beautify this district.
