S ociologists believe that emotional attachments to our pets have many human health benefits. According to the Pew Research Center, 62% of American families own at least one pet, and almost 97% consider their pets to be members of the family. Given the level of affection that we, as a society, have for our pets, it comes as no surprise that we are also very prudent in who we entrust with the care of these important family members. The owners of Canine Country Club, Jeff and Adrienne Murphrey, understand how important pets are to their families.
