Sanibel Captiva Community Bank Helps Rebuild SW Florida, Supports Sanibel School
S anibel Captiva Community Bank has provided over $338 million in residential, business, construction and homeowners’ association loans across Southwest Florida, helping to drive recovery and rebuilding efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton. Since Hurricane Ian, the bank has provided significant lending and has donated over $1.7 million to local community causes. Its employees have contributed nearly 3,000 volunteer hours to support recovery efforts. The bank sponsored Sanibel School’s Blue Ribbon Golf Classic and Gala in May at The Sanctuary Golf Club. The annual event is the primary fundraiser for enrichment programming at the school.
Amerant Bank Welcomes Bam Adebayo as Brand Ambassador
A merant Bank announced Bam Adebayo, a three-time NBA All Star and cornerstone of the Miami Heat, as its newest brand ambassador. As part of the collaboration, Adebayo will be featured in Amerant’s marketing campaigns, social media promotions and exclusive events, including meet-and greets at the Miami Heat’s arena. He
will also appear in commercials and promotional content, further engaging with South Florida’s passionate basketball fans. The bank also announced opening its West Palm Beach Banking Center and Regional Headquarters Office on Okeechobee Boulevard in CityPlace.
First Federal Bank Contributes to One More Child
F irst Federal Bank, headquartered in Live Oak, provided $100,000 to One More Child. The donation is part of the Strong Families Tax Credit program, enabling businesses to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit up to a certain amount in support of select charitable organizations. First Federal team members toured One More Child’s Jacksonville campus, where they delivered the donation along with boxes of diapers provided by the bank’s employees. Operating in 26 states and 19 countries, One More Child serves foster children, hungry children, single
moms, struggling families and survivors of human trafficking.
