Pacific National Bank Celebrates 40 Years of Service
P acific National Bank (PNB) is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Founded in 1982 as an Edge Act bank with Ecuadorian ownership, PNB’s initial focus was to serve an Ecuadorian clientele, however, the bank has since transitioned into a full-service community bank now proudly owned by individual domestic investors. Headquartered on Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Financial District, PNB has branches in Coral Gables, Aventura and Boca Raton, with two more slated to open this year in Pinecrest and Weston. The bank also has an office in New York City. The bank was recently recognized as one of the fastest growing banks in South Florida by a respected local business publication.
Community Bank of the South Celebrates 25 Years of Local Legacy
C ommunity Bank of the South proudly marks 25 years of service, growth and commitment to Brevard County. Launched in 1999 with $6.4 million raised from local shareholders, the bank opened at the turn of the century – just ahead of Y2K. Since then, it has funded over $335 million in loans and supported more than 1,700 local businesses.
Under the steady leadership of its Board of Directors and seasoned management team, the bank has maintained a spotless regulatory record and preserved shareholder value. As the oldest community bank in Brevard and one of only 78 remaining in Florida, Community Bank of the South remains true to its name – locally owned, deeply rooted and dedicated to the community.
