T he dynamic Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, presented by DeFoor Brothers and hosted by Fifty Plus Foundation Inc., returns for the fifth year on October 11-13, 2024, with fun and family-friendly events taking place in and around West Village. Significant and exotic cars of all kinds will be featured, including the stunning Ferraris at the J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club, and the important cars of the world that will be judged during Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance for 22 awards. Also, part of the weekend’s program will be Luftgekühlt, a celebration of air cooled Porsches; the Broad Arrow Car Auction in the Convention Center; a road rally through the Tennessee countryside; and a gathering of Car Clubs from around the area displaying each marque’s unique cars. Famous racing driver David Hobbs will be the Grand Marshal this year, and Lyn St. James, Luigi Chinetti Jr., Corky Coker and Brian Redman return as former Grand Marshals. Panel discussions with these and other celebrities will be held, along with celebrity meet-and-greets and a fundraising gala. All proceeds will benefit the NeuroScience Innovation Foundation. The Festival’s goal is to bring local and global support to back research that will make a difference in saving lives. The streets of West Village will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event, al lowing guests to walk freely among these special cars. Spectators will enjoy up-close views of some very rare and historically significant automobiles. Ferrari of Atlanta is an official sponsor, with other sponsors to be named. West Village is located between 6 th Street to MLK Jr. Blvd. and Broad St. to Hwy. US27 and is anchored by the Westin Hotel.
