Escapees November-December 2022
Escapees Events While Escapees runs many of its own event programs, we know there are so many other efforts taking place to create community on the road. There is a great calendar of Chapter and BoF events that take place throughout the year, and we also love seeing members hold their own get-togethers while traveling around the country. Additionally, when you pull into an Escapees park or an SKP Co-Op, you will be welcomed home by your Escapees family and will likely fi nd activities taking place throughout your stay. There is no shortage of opportuni ties for meeting your fellow Escapees and Xscapers! Escapees Mobile App We hope by now you’ve had a chance to download and check out the new Escapees mobile app! This is currently of particular bene fi t to our mail service members who can use it to quickly update mailing instructions, view and manage mail scans, review mailing/postage history and more! We are eagerly planning the next steps and look forward to continuing to improve the app for all members.
More Good Times Ahead These are all just a few of the things Escapees was able to accomplish over the past year. We’ve also continuously expanded our staff and heavily invested in maintenance and upgrades for Escapees RV Parks, with more to come in both of these areas. Looking to the year ahead, we invite you to join us for two of our biggest events of the year! First up, in January 2023, is the Xscapers Annual Bash in Lake Havasu, AZ. Each year the Xscapers group converges in the desert southwest to enjoy a unique atmosphere that was created for like-minded RVers to meet each other. To learn more about this event, visit www.bash.xscapers. com. In March 2023, the annual Escapade will be returning to Tucson, AZ. Escapade is the largest and most extensive gathering of the Escapees community. Escapade packs a wide variety of seminars, social gatherings, nightly entertainment and much more into fi ve, fun- fi lled days. To learn more, visit: www.escapade.escapees.com. Peterson Spirit Award
While we have focused on t and future, we don’t want t forget about all of the ways
he past o
we can celebrate each other at any time. Our
community is made up of the friendliest RVers who exude the philosophies of caring and sharing that were set forth by our found ers Joe and Kay Peterson. This is exactly why the Pet Spirit award was created: to honor - erson
those who go above and beyond and give back to their fellow members. We are always thrilled to see the nominations come through and the sincere stories that are shared through them. If you’d like to know more about the program or would like to nominate someone who has helped you on your RVing journey, visit: www. escapees.com/petersonspiritaward. During our time of re fl ection, we never forget to celebrate you, our loyal and caring members. We are thankful to each of you for being a part of the Escapees family and we are proud to be a part of your RVing life style, no matter if the role is big or small. And, regardless of how or where you’re planning to spend the remainder of the year, we hope you have a joyous season fi lled with heartfelt moments to remember for a lifetime.
Industry Relationships We’ve worked hard to expand our industry relationships in order to create trusted partnerships and discounts that will enrich your membership. There have been several new discounts negotiated over the past year including savings (some of which are exclusive to you) with companies such as RV Life, Roamly Insurance, Beddy’s, RV SnapPad, Healthy RV Living, Campground Views.com and more. If you haven’t looked at the Commercial Directory lately, I encourage you to do so!
